Manhunt coming to an end late this afternoon. This all began early yesterday when someone fired shots at the Police Department and the sheriff deputy responded to the call was shot and wounded in what Authorities Say was an ambush. The suspects death ends a day and a half into the community, the Officials Say he led officers on a manhunt before he was shot and killed. This all started early yesterday morning, n james lyra the Police Station and then ambushed a responding deputy, shooting him and wounding him. A homeless man was also found shot to death at pointblank range. Officials say they tracked him down twice last night but he got away both times. This afternoon officers formed a perimeter and began a search of the riverbed where he was last spotted. He began shooting and hitting an officer from the Police Department. Be closed. On southbound 101 and 92 a pickup truck veered off the road and into a ditch and San Mateo Fire Department tweeted the photos showing the truck submerged in water. The driver escaped without injury. Residents in belmont saw flooding and a homeowner called the Fire Department when he realized the water wasnt draining right and it was flow under his house something he has never seen in 20 years of living there.
