Weekends terror inside the Center City Garage at 733 chestnut. It is scary because most people would consider this a pretty safe area to be. Philadelphia police say a 53 year old woman left her job at a Jewelry Store on the 100 block of eighth street around 4 00 p. M. Saturday and walked toward her car in this garage. When three men wearing ski masks, and dark clothes pulled her into a van and tortured her. Im surprised we live right in that building, just a block away and it has always seemed safe here. She was beaten and tazed several times while the folks drove her around for an hour demanding the keys to her job and the codes to the safe which she did not know.
