Live from the cbs Broadcast Center in philadelphia, this is cbs3 Eyewitness News tonight at 11 00 oclock, violence in Charlottesville Virginia as a White National lift rally spirals out of control. Counter protesters took to the streets in charlottesville, a speeding car slammed into them killing a 32yearold woman and now police say 20yearold james fields is under arrest. Nearby, two Virginia State tra patrol troopers were killed in a Helicopter Crash while assisting Public Safety resources with that rally. The troopers are identified as lieutenant hj cullen and trooper pilot burke base. In addition to the one woman killed, at least 19 others injured in the car ramming incident the city said there were at least 15 other injuries associated with the schedule rally. Good news for us. Little bit less humidity today, as well, it was very muggy, if you got outside yesterday afternoon, you know what i am talking about, you went outside and didnt take any time at all.
