After earning Big 12 Boat of the Week honors and a decisive 17-5 win against Kansas State in this year's Dillons Sunflower Showdown, the Kansas Rowing team will now head to Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, to compete in the Big 12 Rowing Championship on Sunday, May 19.
For the third time in the past four seasons, Kansas Rowing topped Kansas State to claim the Dillons Sunflower Showdown trophy as the Jayhawks outpaced the Wildcats 17-5 on Saturday morning at Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Kansas Rowing team is set to host Creighton and Kansas State on Saturday, May 4, in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown. It is the final race of the regular season and the Jayhawks will celebrate senior day at Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Kansas Rowing team hosts the Kansas Double Duel on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13. Due to inclement weather conditions, the Double Duel will now occur over two days, with racing beginning on Friday evening.
