Wild flamingos were spotted in Wisconsin for the first time in the state's history. A group of five American flamingos was seen wading in Lake Michigan at South Beach in Port Washington, Wisconsin on Sept. 22, 2023. Other states also witnessed rare sightings of the pink bird after Hurricane Idalia.
