The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Friday, only after four days of functioning.
The session had been scheduled to have 33 sitting days and continue till December 30. However, Speaker Pramila Mallik adjourned the session much before the
Odisha's Forest and Environment Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh informed the state assembly on Monday that 406 elephants died in Odisha due to various reasons in the last five years.
