Two assaults and robberies took place in Burlington on Wednesday, according to press releases from the Burlington Police Department. In one incident around 3:30 p.m. in the Walgreens parking lot at Winooski Avenue and Cherry Street, a victim suffered significant facial injuries and was transported to The University of Vermont Medical Center by ambulance.
