(WKBT) The Winona County Public Health Department on Wednesday began distributing the first round of COVID-19 vaccines. With the help of the Winona Fire Department, the vaccination team started distributing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to local emergency medical service providers and public health nurses. Emergency Management Director Ben Klinger was among those to receive the first round of the vaccine, administered to him by paramedic Joel Corcoran.
