Administration is now saying that they will be done tonight. Too much of a hassle. Reporter how has it been . For thousands of drivers getting into the city, a big time bottleneck. Tough enough with the rain and the closure ofhe southbound lanes of the gw parkway. Reporter and there is more likely to come. I dont know where to go and my gps is acting up. Reporter the sinkhole opened up the pavement in this southbound lane just the other side of the bridge over windy run in arlington. Road crews closed all the inbound lanes starting at 123 and then pushed cars even farther back to the beltway. Its very unfortunate. It points out how important the gw parkway is as a commuter route into the district. Reporter northbound is open. And the president at one point breezed right past the sinkhole heading for bethesda.
