(Photo courtesy of Pasay City police) MANILA - A lawyer from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) was injuredin a shooting incident that transpired along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City on Monday night. Pasay City chief of police Col. Cesar Paday-os on Tuesday identified the victim as Joseph Samuel Zapata, 30, and resident of Rainbow Village, San Isidro, Paranaque City. Paday-os said initial investigation showed that the Zapata wasdriving his white Toyota Fortuner with plate number NBP 7726, heading southbound of Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, whenmotorcycle-riding suspects shot the left portion of the vehicle at around 5:40 p.m., hitting the back of the victim's head. Paday-os said Zapata who sustained a gunshot wound was rushed to a hospital in Manilafor treatment while the suspects sped toward the direction of Manila.
