Festus R-6 announced its Board of Education on Dec. 21 approved hiring Denise Funston as its new assistant superintendent. Funston, principal of Windsor Elementary School, will take over her new duties July 1, 2024.
Work on the nearly $12 million in construction projects approved by the Windsor C-1 Board of Education is soon to start, Superintendent Jason King said at a Dec. 20 meeting.
The Windsor C-1 Board of Education voted 6-0 Nov. 15 to approve a motion to allow Superintendent Jason King to negotiate with Brockmiller Construction, Farmington, on a multi-million dollar project for renovations and new construction at Windsor Intermediate Center and Windsor High School.
