PUPILS at Swindon schools may have missed out of the chance of traditional work experience placements due to coronavirus restrictions but they will soon be able to get an insight into the world of work. Wiltshire College is working with Swindon and Wiltshire Careers Hub and Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership to create an online platform for schools across the county. The YourPlacement project allows students aged 14 to 16 to find out about a wide range of jobs. A number of businesses have already signed up to be part of the scheme.
