in the republican field that they could support. so none of this right now is determinative of anything. because they re letting us know that they haven t made up their minds. the cake isn t even half-baked at this point. i want to go back to the ad. one thing that s interesting about it i mentioned willie horton typically that kind of attack that this politician is opening up america or your city or whatever to criminals, brown-skinned criminals particularly is usually used against democrats. what s interesting about that ad weak on crime is really the message, right? this is the first time i think i ve ever seen that kind of attack used against another republican. which tells you a lot about the general political landscape, how much it s changed. that kind of thing is basically verboten at this point. trump is playing on elemental fears of difference. he s not the only one talking immigration. governor scott walker of wisconsin chimed in and he said that it s legitimate t
okay so strong response pretty quick coming out from the jeb camp saying jeb bush has a record of cracking down on violent criminals as governor of florida while trrp trmp has up until it was convenient supported liberals soft on crime. his would violate the constitution and cost hundreds of billions of dollars. s.e. could you say what the bush campaign thinks about that ad from their gut, we couldn t even probably put that on air and when i listened to it one of the first things that it evoked for me and i think some other people was, it was sort of a willy horton-esque ad famously below the bad political ad. what do you think of this kind of debate going on? you know that s an ugly ad but i have to say pretty effective. totally, definitely. and jeb needed to be prepared for this kind of line of attack if not that dirty, but he has to be prepared to answer questions
