Former Cardiff City striker Alan Lee netted a second half penalty to give the Blues a 1-0 victory over Swansea City and send Town through to the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1996. The spotkick was awarded after Jaime Peters was pulled back by Tom Williams.
Marshall Not Happy Thursday, 19th Feb 2004 14:33
Town keeper Andy Marshall says his loan spell at Millwall has become a pointless exercise. Marshall joined the Lions on a month s loan but is after just two games is out of the first-team picture at the New Den.
The stopper says: I might as well not be here. I can t really see the point if I m not playing. I m no better off than if I was at Ipswich.
Marshall played in Millwall s 2-1 win at Crewe and in a 1-1 draw with Stoke but had to drop out of the cup ties against Telford and Burnley as he wasn t registered in time to play in the FA Cup.
