Pasco, Washington, is one of the destinations known as the Tri-Cities, which also includes the towns of Kennewick and Richland. The region is known for its more than 300 days of sunshine each year, making it a great place for outdoor activities. Pasco has become a regional hub for youth travel soccer and baseball teams, and it’s no wonder with its 20 soccer fields, seven baseball fields, and eight softball fields. There are 15 miles of paved trails overlooking the mighty Columbia River. This vibrant town is a fun mix of urban and agricultural with food festivals throughout the summer.

Some residents of Saskatoon’s only golf course community are perturbed by a series of proposed changes to its second phase of development, saying it’s not what they were led to believe would eventually be built.
The developer behind The Willows says the golf course has had “challenging” years, and the changes will include more amenities for residents while ensuring its long-term economic sustainability.

“We love it here. Any future development should fit into the way it is now,” said Glenn Stephenson, who moved into the area about 15 years ago believing the planned second stage of development would echo the first.
