Vaccinating health-care workers, those in long-term care facilities, and those who are immune compromised because of serious health conditions makes sense. The next planned phase will be to vaccinate individuals according to age, beginning with those in their 60s.

Some residents of Saskatoon’s only golf course community are perturbed by a series of proposed changes to its second phase of development, saying it’s not what they were led to believe would eventually be built.
The developer behind The Willows says the golf course has had “challenging” years, and the changes will include more amenities for residents while ensuring its long-term economic sustainability.

“We love it here. Any future development should fit into the way it is now,” said Glenn Stephenson, who moved into the area about 15 years ago believing the planned second stage of development would echo the first.

A Saskatchewan Party politician wants Saskatoon Mayor Charlie Clark to put the brakes on a controversial neighbourhood planning process in The Willows, but Clark says that is not something he can do.
Stonebridge–Dakota MLA Bronwyn Eyre made the request in a Jan. 25 letter to Clark, in which she described hearing from “a substantial number” of people opposed to Dream Development’s proposed changes to the golf course community’s second phase of development.
