The Willmar Public School District has proposed a plan, "Strong Today. Future Focused," for its future to strengthen the district's educational facilities and build upon the district's objective of strong schools for our strong community. Dr. Bill Adams has outlined the district's background material on the proposed two-question referendum on the ballot on Nov. 7.
The Willmar School Board more than a year ago approved a succession plan for the expected June 2024 retirement of Jeff Holm. Adams was then hired as assistant superintendent, a role he's held the past year.
Elaine L. Walker, age 82, of New London, passed away Saturday, March 25, at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, following a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.
