Firefighters have been battling back to back fires in the brentwood area. Jackie ward is there. Reporter those firings started within a half hour of each other. That means its been an extra exhausting day for dozens of bay area fifths. And they are firefighters, and their busy season is barely getting started. After july 4, calfire expect their days to get intense, but three fires back to back to back, lead them to think something is up. Were looking into it. It could be human caused intentional, or accidental. Reporter calfire says 250 acres were on fire at one point. Now two fires are completely contained and the third is at 80 . The problem is the terrain, its steep, theres limited access. There are some good roads as far as dirt looks, but its steep for the bulldozer to cut the line. Now President Trump is calling for a reversal. Mola lenghi reports from washington. Reporter President Trump is reversing the pentagons policy regarding transgender people in the military. In a series of tweets this morning, the president said, the government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the u. S. Military. He cited, quote, the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Ash carter lifted it last year saying it was the right thing to do. Americans who can serve should be afforded the opportunity to do so. Reporter since october transgender people have gotten medical care but recently there was a delay on allowing people to enlist.
