torrential downpours left homeowners stranded, emergency crews rescued dozens of people, all across the region. the lieutenant governor has issued a disaster declaration for 59 counties. there is still bad weather out there. janice is with us to talk about it. j.d. reporter: taking a look at the weather that went through oklahoma city, the wettest day on record for oklahoma city goes down in the history books, look at some of these storm totals, over a foot of rain in edmond, oklahoma, a suburb of oklahoma city, north of the area, north highland, close to a foot and will rogers airport, 7.8 inches. incredible amounts of rain. hats off to the rescue workers. as jane mentioned, we do have the threat for more heavy rain unfortunately extending from the ohio river valley back to the mississippi river and even again parts of oklahoma and texas as we have that frontal boundary, along that frontal boundary, low pressure is riding towards the east. we re going to keep an eye on that, as we
