El Dorado concluded its basketball season on Thursday, falling twice to 5A South champion Lake Hamilton at Wildcat Arena. The Lady Wildcats dropped a 56-22 decision to fall to 7-20, 6-9. The Wildcats lost to the Wolves 81-51 and finished with a 6-17, 3-13 record.
SHERIDAN - El Dorado pulled out a 61-59 road win at Sheridan Tuesday in 5A South boys action. The Wildcats improved to 6-13 overall and 3-9 in conference while the Yellowjackets fell to 13-11, 2-9.
HOT SPRINGS - El Dorado’s ride home from Hot Springs Lakeside was long and cold Friday night and not just because of the weather. Both El Dorado teams suffered heartbreaking defeats in 5A South action.
