The Kansas Jayhawks had a strong third round at the Big 12 Championship on Tuesday, shooting a 7-over 287 – the team’s best round of the tournament – to move up two spots to sixth place at +32 overall.
At the historic neighborhood landmark Molloy's Bar in Colma, a crowd got a round of beers Friday night, raising their glasses and cans of beer to toast their missing their friend and frequent customer Will King, 45, who was killed in a hit-and-run crash about a half-mile from the bar.
Following a long day that included more than 40 holes of golf, the Kansas Jayhawks find themselves in third place at the Hawkeye Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course.
Junior Gunnar Broin fired the second-best round in Kansas history on Saturday at the Hawkeye Invitational, shooting a 9-under 63 at Finkbine Golf Course to help the Jayhawks take second place at 24-under as a team.
