Investigation this morning. A train involved in the crash findly made it to the amtrak station in oakland very early the morning. Kpix 5s ryan takeo is live there with more. Good morning. Reporter hi frank. Passengers say about 40 maybe 50 passengers got off here at the Jack London Square station just a couple of hours ago. Just about 3 30. It was supposed to be here at about 10 00 last night. The three mile stretch from the collision site to here. Its supposed to take a matter of minutes. Instead it took hours as police investigated. Heres video from the scene. It happened just after 10 00 last night on 50th street. Thats where it started. But in oakland fire battalion chief says the amtrak train dragged the suv seven blocks before it stopped at high street. The driver of the suv died and no one on the train was injured. It was coming from l. A. And heading towards seattle and it was just about three miles from the oakland station. The passengers waited for five hours as investigators
