West Wicklow Youthreach has received a ‘Global Passport’ from WorldWise Global Schools, Irish Aid’s national Global Citizenship Education programme for post-primary settings, for its work towards creating a better world.
Students from Temple Carrig School, Greystones and Wicklow Youth Reach attended an innovative workshop at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, hosted by electricity grid operator, EirGrid, and non-profit youth organisation, Young Social Innovators (YSI).
Wicklow Youthreach students, with help from some Irish stars in martial arts and theatre, have been providing a series of workshops for children living in temporary direct provision at Rathmore Holiday Village in Ashford.
