awful lot of people in washington who question that, if the president if this were 2019, and the president would be running in a year or less, the idea of running against washington, even though he has been present for four years, and in fact running against leadership, donald trump has always been less a republican than his own separate brand, that would make a lot of practical sense, but we are not to just before the general election, the presidential election in 2020, we are just before the midterm election in 2018, the president has got three years plus where he has got to work with republican leaders in all of the things that we just talked about in terms of taxes, debt limit, and infrastructure, and the budget, so separating himself from the g.o.p. in addition to which, if he hurts republicans and they don t end up running and voters don t come out in 2018 and he ends up with a democratic house or senate or both, he may look
