After almost three years of discussion and planning, the Whittier City Council approved moving forward with the final design for the Greenleaf Promenade Project, which will prompt renovations from Hadley Street to Wardman Street.
After serving the city for over 30 years, Richard Jones announced his retirement as Whittier city attorney at the Tuesday, Dec. 12, council meeting. Council members appointed Assistant City Attorney Keith Collins as Jones’ successor.
