She said it was over quickly but people said it felt like it was longer. We spoke with a nurse who works in a nearby hospital. She spoke about what happens when it hits. All of a sudden there was a loud noise accompanied by the shaking, some people went into earthquake mode but most people went to check on their patients and just kept going, a lot of people did not have time to react. Reporter that nurse did not want to say what hospital she works at but she works at a nearby hospital. She told me that there were a lot of traveling nurses, the once that were not from california were scared. They ran for the doors and ran under the tables but she did not have time to do that, she checked on her patients. It did not cause a power outage so she went back to work. It happened right across the street from the Northern District police station. The gunman fired into a car stopped at the mcdonalds drivethrough at fillmore street and golden gate avenue around 2 45 yesterday. Witnesses say he fired into the passenger window several times and then ran off. The passenger in the car died at the hospital. The driver was not hurt. Meanwhile police are trying to figure out if a shooting four blocks from that mcdonalds has anything to do with the drivethrough murder.
