$500,000 Confederate chair stolen from Alabama cemetery used as toilet, will be returned tonight

The group, which calls itself White Lies Matter, earlier this week said they would give the chair to the United Daughters of the Confederacy if the organization agreed to hang a banner outside its Richmond, Va. Headquarters.
They demanded that the UDC hang the banner at 1 p.m. Friday - the anniversary of the Confederacy’s surrender in the Civil War and leave it there for 24 hours.
The banner bears a quote from Assata Shakur, a Black Liberation Army activist wanted by the FBI for the 1973 murder of a New Jersey state trooper: “The rulers of this country have always considered their property more important than our lives.”
Group steals Confederate monument, threatens to turn it into a Porta John A photo purportedly showing a toilet-inspired modification to a Confederate monument. (White Lies Matter) Military personnel have considerable experience when it comes to fashioning previously unrelated items into bodily waste receptacles. Cut-up milk crates adorned with duct tape for added comfort, wooden ammo crates positioned over dug-out holes, piss pipes, straddle trenches, cat holes, etc. the creativity in the quest for intestinal relief remains unmatched. So, it might impress such lav-savvy service members to learn that one particular group, after stealing a Confederate monument in March from a cemetery in Alabama, is threatening to convert it into a Porta John unless the United Daughters of the Confederacy meet the group’s demands.
