Sheila E. made a name for herself as an iconic musician early on in her life and has performed with musical legends including Prince, Beyoncé and Lionel Richie.
This year’s 10th annual Jazz Fest will return to in-person performances after transitioning to a virtual presentation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re excited to return for the 10th year, themed ‘In This Together,’ highlighting the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine, while bringing ‘the Queen of Percussion’ Sheila E. to North Long Beach to help amplify our message,” stated a statement from Councilman Rex Richardson’s office.
