OHIO approves new student travel policy Published: April 19, 2021 Author: Staff reports Ohio University has approved a new Student Travel Policy, designed to manage University-affiliated student travel and support the safety of our student travelers.  This policy defines student travel as taking place over 100 miles from the student’s campus of departure, including an overnight stay, and/or taking place outside the state of Ohio. For eCampus students, their campus of departure is defined as their home. For medical students on clinical rotation, their campus of departure is defined as the site of their clinical rotation.   University-related activities include those undertaken for University credit, field research, fulfilling a degree requirement, or supported by University funding, among other categories.
