MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Light Gas and Water said the water system is improving but there is still a boil and conserve water advisory.
People are still waiting in lines to get a precious commodity, bottled water.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Friday MLGW stated they do not have any plans to shut off residential water services, but that doesnât answer the number one question residents have, which is, when will things go back to normal?
Residents living in the Idlewild 45 apartments said itâs been a cold few days.
âThe heat is completely out, thereâs no hot water and the water pressure is really low so we canât do dishes or take a shower,â Lexi Bean said.
