Over two thousand students from 24 secondary schools across Co Wexford will take part in a road safety initiative specifically designed to educate teenagers in the coming weeks. The Just 1 Life programme, which is run by the Wexford Rotary club in partnership with Wexford County Council (WCC), is aimed at increasing road safety awareness among young people and reducing road traffic deaths.
The Loreto College in Wexford town has founded just the fourth youth rotary club in Ireland following a meeting in the school last week. Loreto Interact is a rotary-sponsored program designed for youths aged 12 to 18 who “seek to connect with other young individuals, have fun, serve their communities, and expand their global awareness”.
