DETROIT The Detroit Red Wings today reassigned goaltender Kaden Fulcher to the taxi squad from the American Hockey League s Grand Rapids Griffins and reassigned goaltender Kevin Boyle to the Griffins from the taxi squad.
Fulcher, 22, is in his third professional season after being limited to two games during the 2019-20 campaign with the ECHL s Toledo Walleye due to injury. Fulcher has appeared in three games with the Griffins this season, earning his first AHL victory in a 2-1 win on April 21 versus Cleveland. In three games with Grand Rapids, he has a 1-1-1 record, 3.30 goals-against average and 0.884 save percentage. DETROIT The Detroit Red Wings today reassigned goaltender Kevin Boyle to the taxi squad from the American Hockey League s Grand Rapids Griffins and reassigned goaltender Kaden Fulcher to the Griffins from the taxi squad.
Boyle, 28, has appeared in nine games with Grand Rapids this season, posting a 5-2-1 record, 2.84 goals-against average and 0.886 save percentage. The netminder signed with Detroit this offseason after spending four seasons in the Anaheim Ducks organization. He played 20 games for their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls, in 2019-20, posting a 9-7-2 record, 2.82 goals-against average and 0.911 save percentage. In 126 career AHL games, Boyle owns a 67-40-11 record, 2.72 goals-against average,
