Track and field returns to action against SNHU, Allan awarded UAA Athlete of the Week honors
For the first time since 2019, Brandeis’ outdoor track and field teams were back to running, jumping and throwing. The Judges headed down to nearby Weston High School to compete against the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in a non-scoring meet. The SNHU squad was short-handed, as the men’s and women’s distance teams were unable to make the trip to Massachusetts due to health and safety precautions. In compliance with Brandeis’ return to play guidelines for varsity spring athletics, no spectators were allowed.

Special to the Crier
Lincoln-Sudbury boys varsity basketball hosted Weston High School on Friday night for an exciting back and forth game that started with a celebration of the team’s seven seniors: Adam Khan, Chase Benson, Alex Kornblum, Matt Dooley, Asher Hawk, Myles Jones and Christopher Parinella.
Coach Linda Martindale talked about the impact that these seven boys have had on the basketball program and specifically mentioned their “strong desire to compete and their constant belief in Team above Self.” This unique season with the adjusted Covid-19 rules and constant change in practice and game schedule was a perfect example of how this team competed every night and continued to play together and with the heart of warriors.
