world, never considered before, and some may be leaning away from that. certainly europe is far more reliant on russian oil than the united states. it makes it a much bigger percentage of their imports so they would feel the pinch that much more, which is why they seem to be reluctant to do so. but i want to ask about this. there has been a lot of headlines in the last week or two, a growing number of high profile western companies have stopped operating in russia, it seems to be added by the day and a few big ones like mcdonald s and other well known u.s. brands, can continue to operate as business as usual in russia, are they facing pressure for choosing to stick around? they are certainly facing pressure on social media. and from the general public. there are hashtags out there, saying avoid pepsi, by cot others, and there are maximum countries that are boycotting russia, and so many have pulled out, like mayor accounting firms like kpmg and deloitte and also
they don t receive those planes from poland, and on the whole, is ukraine receiving enough global support to hold off the russian advances? well, i think there s a ticking clock here, and russia does have, or will probably have at some point significant air superiority over ukraine so this would buy them more time. but of course, the calculation that s being made is at what point do you go far enough that vladimir putin counts this as a direct declaration of war. so far, supplying lethal aid has not provoked him to attack nuclear countries and when you re dealing with a nuclear power and a potentially erratic leader that president putin has shown himself to be in recent weeks so the question that is tossed around in western capital, how far can we go to disrupt the russian war machine, without provoking it, into a war that will start world war three, and nuclear weapons being used
