Medical workers are getting this first dose of the vaccine as we speak protecting themselves against what will still be a long, deadly, and for them exhausting winter. Theyre sending a message to the rest of us that this vaccine is safe and it will save lives. A new online poll from abc news shows that more than 80 of americans are willing to take the vaccine. Although a large percentage say they dont want to be among the first to do so. Frankly most of them will not have to worry about that. Right now there is only enough doses to inoculate a something number of the most vulnerable americans. But the time line is getting more optimistic.
