Theyve been here earl 84 this morning. And they are doing an Assembly Line of the meals. And it looks like the potatoes that is now on its side which means we are probably getting low on that end. And they will have to put in the second shift of potatoes. They are moving along pretty quickly. There are more than 4,000 meals that will be packaged here and hand delivered to thousands of San Francisco residents who cannot leave their homes either to illness or age. Now we have more than 500 volunteers coming to pick up these meals and deliver them. There are some longtime volunteers that are here. We did meet a guy in the first hour named zach who is here with both of his parents. We have also met tourists from germany that came early to help out. We were thinking what to do with our christmas. And we thought
Thats right just seen not really soaking rain that we saw earlier today out here over the past couple of hours. But we have seen some showers that have been moving through. But despite all this nasty weather people have been getting out and summer actually happy to do it. Holiday weekends when weather made for an easy excuse to stay indoors. That many people if the office while not creeks ice skating rink in civic park was the place to be sunday afternoon. Never mind the white whether the holiday spirit was not going to be dampened. You know its raining when they knew the open really. The wipers were needed on 6. 80 and this sign along pacheco boulevard in pacheco warned about potential flooding under this overpass. The big puddles filled up in some parking lots as cars splash through them. The rain didnt keep people from walking theyre all weather pops or visiting some local shops with umbrellas overhead. Its really not that bad, i mean i wish it was sunny, i wish it was sunny and 75
Coordination with pulling ceilings and the Company Opening and ventilating and pushing the fire from the inside out. I just wanted to say kudos to those companies. They did a fantastic job. Along with that, we had two bay rescues, with one meritorious thats been submitted. Two surf rescues. We had a high angle rescue on the golden gate bridge, and we have another meritorious thats been submitted, and a cliff rescue. Im going to mention lieutenant baxter, cliff baxter. He manages to be two or three places at the same time, but i really want to give kudos to lieutenant chief baxter. Theyre going to the Police Department academy, talking to the protectionabationary acade talking to them about what we need, doing it in a very professional way, explaining what we need in terms of parking, not blocking hydrants, and were really building a strong relationship with the Police Department right now, that i really am proud of them for, and thats also with the help of captain hart from the sfpd.
