Ahmedabad, Feb 23 : From a boy who once sat at a west Delhi intersection with tears in his eyes after failing to get admitted to a recognised school 17 years ago to becoming the second India pace bowler to play 100 Tests, it has been quite a journey for Ishant Sharma.
Back then, a lanky, ungainly Ishant had just one cricket jersey which had faded to pale yellow. His primary concern then was to gain admission in a recognised school from the unrecognised neighbourhood one he was studying in.

New Delhi: The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a campaign on Sunday to seek Rs 13,000 crore from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-ruled Delhi government for the municipal corporations so that they could function well and fund salaries of the employees and various essential works like sanitation.
The BJP has alleged that the AAP government owed the amount to the corporations. Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta launched the campaign in West Patel Nagar and distributed leaflets to the local residents. At Molarband Vistar in Badarpur, leader of opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri led his campaign.
