Piping hot eggs, sausage and pancakes were served at the Zion Episcopal Church on West Liberty Street, cooked by the Delta Lake Kiwanis Club. The Rome branch of the NAACP hosted the meal, as they have done for many years. Honor Society students from Strough Middle School helped with serving coffee and other drinks.
Bus service in Rome will switch to three fixed routes on the main boulevards, and then an on-demand bus service for elsewhere in the city and parts of the outer district. The company held a public meeting at the South Rome Senior Center Thursday night to provide more information and allow people to ask questions.
