54-year-old fatally shot after street racers shut down intersection in Mountain Creek, Dallas police say Nataly Keomoungkhoun, The Dallas Morning News © Irwin Thompson/The Dallas Morning News Police are looking for a suspect they say fired a handgun during an intersection shutdown, fatally killing a woman. Dallas police responded to a shooting call about 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of Duncanville Road, near West Ledbetter Drive, in the Mountain Creek area. Witnesses told police that street racers had shut down an intersection when an unknown suspect began firing a handgun. It’s unclear how many shots were fired. Lynetta Washington, 54, was fatally struck by gunfire as she was walking down the street, police said. She died at the scene, police said.
