Live at the station, septa finally disclosed how the new system is going to work. Thats right, jim. After the first plan proved to be a disaster septa thinks it has found a solution. It has a plan b, a lottery system that will be open for a 24hour period for anyone wishing to buy the regional 10 passes. Last week septa placed 350,000 Regional Rail passes up for grabs on the website, but the agency did not anticipate the stampede it would create. A rush ever of people trying to get their hands on tickets, crashing after selling only 201. An e commerce site is not a viable solution. And causing the stampede rush was key in creating plan b.
