On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, Lucky the Duck and West Bay Rotarian Ray Fink presented a $1,143.53 check to New Hope for Women Executive Director Rebekah Paredes
West Bay Rotarians donate money to designated nonprofits by dropping donations in buckets on the table at their weekly meetings. Since the club is currently meeting via Zoom, we are calling these buckets in cyberspace and have been inviting the community to also donate. In February, we even added an in-club cookie exchange and raised over $410 to add to the more than $730 in donations.

West Bay Rotary raised over $6,000 in about a month to benefit the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry, One Less Worry, and the Shields Mission Project. The club encouraged their members and the community to purchase Lucky’s Christmas Vacation raffle tickets for a chance to win seven nights at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort in Naples, Florida and by Sunday morning they had sold almost 700 tickets.

West Bay Rotary is raising money to help three local nonprofits that help people in need. Net proceeds from Lucky’s Christmas Vacation raffle will benefit the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry, One Less Worry, and the Shields Mission Project.
Raffle tickets are available online at westbayrotaryraffle.com and are $10 each or six tickets for $50, and the winner will receive a certificate for seven nights at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort in Naples, Florida. The raffle winner will be drawn at the Christmas tree sale on December 20
th at 4 pm.
Because of Covid-19, West Bay Rotary has had to cancel many of their fundraisers, so they have been finding creative new ways to help the community. Although the annual Christmas tree fundraiser is still on and will help raise money for charities and nonprofits, it just seemed like more could be done.
