questions. federal statute gives the authority to the executive branch to determine what the questions will be on the census. and certainly asking our u.s. citizen on the u.s. census questions should be on there and i think that the american people will support the president if he moves forward and does what the court says is constitutional. jon: i got my names crisscrossed. i wanted to ask that question of kevin. i think kevin does have a problem with it. what is your problem with asking that question? well jon, i do have a problem with it. on the main level it would discourage people from participating possibly. there have been studies conducted by the census that say people who may be not citizens yet or seeking to become citizens may be basically encouraged to not respond because they re fearing retribution or something of that nature from the government. this will be the first time in history that this citizenship
republican party of florida. we re 5 1/2 hours away from that deadline. how confident are you? well jon, good morning. i think confidence is if you look at the process that is unfolding, which by the way is pretty traditional in florida, and the global scope of what the judge has in terms of ballots being considered, there is not enough that would change the results as we know them to be. so i think confidence would be the right word to use at this point. jon: so you believe that ron desantis will be the next governor of florida and rick scott will leave the governor s office to head to the u.s. senate? that s if you look yes, the answer is but if you look at the ballots that are at issue. it is important that all the ballots be counted. that the results might modify in small numbers but there aren t enough at issue to make a change in either of those two races.
