Forecadt vicki alright britt vicki as the bay area waits for their next round of wet weather. Areas in Southern California are getting hit hard with a storm. Which may be the reason lines at airports are piling up with delays. This is what it looked like in lax this morning. Vicki long lines were packed with people trying to board their planes. Or in some cases buy a new ticket. Thats because nearly 230 flights have either been cancelled or delayed today. By the end of the day roughly 200thousand people are expected to travel through lax. And hot tub used to stand. Last wednesday during the height of the storm drain water rushing down the slope of the Santa Cruz Mountains eroded the soil underneath the deck. The deck obviously gave way early that morning. Sliding almost into the road. Right as the sun was coming up you heard a big snap and it was all the legs going. And that was thats it for now. Reporter there were no injuries but the deck and hot tub are complete losses. Neighbors raced to the rescue helping cleared mud and debris from the road which reopened this last weekend but it has been raining actively today and more is forecast for tomorrow which has many residents worried. I think were going to see more landslides. Are you doing anything to get ready . Thats why im out here on this tractor. Clearing the culverts and trying to make sure the road is passable.
