Reporter we are in south san jose at the scene of a quadruple fatal crash. It appears alcohol was involved. Still an active scene on highway 85 southbound. It has been closed for much of the night but will reopen in a few hours. It began around 10 23 pm last night when the chp says this durango was speeding on highway 85 in your cottle road. The driver somehow lost control and the suv rolled over several times and it came to a rest on its wheels. Three male passengers died and a woman was taken to the hospital, where she died later in the night. One of the passengers was actually ejected and the remains were found a short distance away. A fit passenger had minor injuries and the chp took the driver away in handcuffs.
