24 delegates up for grabs here in New Hampshire. Weve been chasing the candidates across the state as they make their case to voters one last time. This morning we have interviews with Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, joe biden, the Campaign Manager to for Bernie Sanders he will join us as well. John, is it too late for me to rethink our decision that youre inside a cozy area while im outside at this polling place . Because maybe for the next hour we will switch that up. But i am here at Northwest Elementary School in manchester, this is a very popular polling place, people are already trickling in, you might be able to see them lining up behind me. As for the candidates, they have been going after each other in this final stretch. They are also taking jabs at President Trump. The president was also here in New Hampshire last night, hes continuing his impeachment retaliation tour and while early bird voters are just arriving here to cast their ballots, the first votes have already been c
Think should be a part of it. I can talk to the principals personally. That help is invaluable. I will tell you i was surprised when we did our first fundraiser. We have raised over 100,000 each year for this. I thought when people would talk about budget cuts and the reasons why we couldnt open the schoolyards, this is true. The use of proceeds i thought would be 100 paying for people to open and close the gates. The majority of the money is going to the ptas, and thats a good thing for them to apply on the weekends to program their school site. Layering an Additional School site is incrementally expensive. A, the funds are there to begin with. But b its not a cost issue, but a principal buyin issue. And i know that principals are talking to other principals. And parents talking. And michael and christine going to the schools is invaluable. Making the principals and the parents feel the buyin. I would like to say one other thing that is really, its so much now a part of the fabric tha
Richmond area outside philadelphia to find everything they can in this mangled mess of train wreckage. It is a shock that the death toll is not ten times as high as it is right now. As we said ntsb investigators are going to be on the scene this morning. Theyre going to be searching for clues on what caused this. Speed will be an obvious concern. And this curve that well be talking about this morning where the train derailed it has a history. In 1943 79 people died when a train derailed here. Its one of the deadliest crashes in history. Cnns sarah sidner is very close to the crash site. She has a look at the wreckage and more importantly the investigation. Sarah, whats the latest . Reporter what weve been seeing all morning is investigators coming out. Some of them definitely amtrak because weve been seeing their cars drive up and looking very closely at the rail all the way up to where the train derailed. I want to give you a look at that so you can see as far as our camera can see. Y
Waiting a month or two. They went to the pta, hey, look, we invested a lot of time on the Community Garden and would it be okay to hold off. I thought thats what it meant. And can you clarify pasara, a school in my community. Do they do the cleanup . Do they get the same level of service from the city . Yes, okay, good. Now i have a question. Is there you know you say you are looking for more schools to participate. So you have capacity for growth, because you know i look through this. And there are neighborhoods that are over represented and some that are clearly underrepresented. You have a bunch of school in the valley and in richmond and none in the intermission. So i think we need to do some specific outreach. If we want to have equity past who is interested. And we need to target some school and talk to some principals. And maybe other people in the community. And i would be happy to help with that. But also paying attention to that kind of balance is important. I will add to tha
