monsoon means seasonal. and even the severe storms up to the north, yes, but it s regional flights that will be affected. this is what you want to see, green. can we talk about the weather the element the elephant in the terminal is what i m trying to say. these airlines no doubt have problems with staffing, with pilot shortage, with getting the aircraft need to be, but they re fast to throw out weather as an issue because the flying public thinks that. overall it has not been a weather issue. we had a few storms in the northeast yesterday with some damaging winds. laguardia, sure, a slight delay that is all offshore today. we have a little delay in orlando, 15, 20 minutes. out around las vegas not much of a weather issue. when you look at the scattered storms, again, it s like throwing a dart. the storm system we had yesterday that did have some damage with it with the winds causing slight delays but, again, it moves off. it only takes one storm and laguardia or newark could cause
flight and help me get a hotel and et cetera. as i was walking out and i m seeing a line of over 500 people with small children at midnight tried to find hotels and new flights being told it s a weather issue, not our problem, shame on them. there are secret strikes going on, they don t have enough pilots and employees are only wanted to work for so long. they know each week they will cut them and they got caught again with overworked pilots and underpaid employees. but, you know, shame on them for trying to say it s weather because it s not. of people are flying, flying probably to go celebrate memorial day with their families. if they get there, everything costs a whole lot more than it should. i feel like you re down in florida every weekend with the cookout. what do you make of these price hikes? 10%, 17%. everything is a mess. we live in the united states of

it clearly is not a weather issue, it would seem, or they would have said so. what are the conditions at the launch site right now? you know, very good. compared to where we were a couple of days ago. yesterday, the winds were gusting to 25 and 30 miles per hour. we haven t had a gust over 8 miles per hour in the past six hours. the launch window here is a lot larger than, let s say, if you re sending a ship to the space station. the space station s going 17,000 miles per hour right now. you send a rocket up five minutes late, that space station is gone. it is 2,000 miles out of your way. and so that s why the window they have here is hours long because they re not trying to catch up to anything. winds now are nice and light, temperatures are good. sunshine everywhere. now, the longer they wait, if they have to hold this, the chances of the winds picking up is a little bit greater. we probably could get up to the 12 to 15 mile range and that could probably be a problem again later on
we fly organs, blood for hospitals, medical equipment, fresh food. it s going to affect the economy. it s going to affect your lifestyle. it s going to affect the markets. it s a big deal. dana: greg, seems like airlines forget it s not the 1980s. if they said that there was a weather issue, you are like, okay. no way to tell. not everybody has it on their phone. greg: will you are seeing is government isn t controlling this. its pilots. if this is true. if it s actually about the mandates, then you re seeing a group of people who decide that it s important enough that they can actually control a resource that can put a stop to anything because they believe they have the right to. the personal is always political for the left. decades ago it was essential with jim crow, makes a personal but now everything personal is political except i am willing to bet that 99% of the people that are involved in this stance, it s not us versus them.
