The upcoming week till 28 May is expected to be washed out by heavy rains in multiple states of India except Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa where rains will be significantly lesser and dry and hot weather will prevail
The upcoming week is expected to start on a similar note, as maximum temperatures are likely in the normal range, with scattered rains and thunderstorms generally appearing in the late afternoon to late evening hours
There is some rain activity likely over southern parts of Rayalaseema, Telangana, Maharashtra but it will not be sufficient enough to give major relief. This activity is late in the afternoon evening as temperatures. Spread of activity will not last for more than a day or so. Temperatures will not shoot further.
More rains are expected today and tomorrow. Coastal parts of Karnataka may also heave light sprinkle. Fresh spell of rains with a fair amount of spread and intensity are likely to strap South Peninsula, commencing end of this week and later.
