The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) of India recently launched an open competition to build the country's first national web browser. Called Indian Web Browser Development Challenge (IWBDC), the contest aims to encourage tech enthusiasts and developers of India to build an indigenous web browser.
