Area students learn from two prominent book authors

Moberly area students had an opportunity of a lifetime as they were able to meet two award winning authors during a special presentation co-sponsored by Little Dixie Regional Libraries held Thursday, April 15 at Moberly s 4th Street Theatre.
Both Watt Key, author of Alabama Moon and Deep Water, and Dusti Bowling, author of 24 Hours in Nowhere and Canyon s Edge, were keynote speakers who answered questions as they visited with approximately 300 students from five schools.
These award winning authors were requested by students. Both have been nominated for Missouri writing awards and write for juveniles.

Pro Dive International has appointed PADI Course Director Leo Saldunbides as the new leader of their prestigious IDC, GoPro & TecRec Academy.
Leo, originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, started freediving and scuba diving at a young age, and has
been working in the diving industry as a professional for almost 20 years. During that time, Leo has been diving, teaching and working in many locations such as Brazil, The Bahamas, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Portugal, The Netherlands, Malaysia and finally in Cape Verde Islands, where he spent the past several years of this professional career.
