large crackling on the speakers. reporter: but most of them didn t have any idea anyone got hurt. shortly after the accident, the skies cleared and we captured video of people back in the water swimming with dolphins. the guests left here thankful. this appears to have been just a close call. kind of lucky i didn t get hit. reporter: one guest told us they knew florida was sometimes referred to as the lightning strike capital of the u.s., but they never expected to experience anything like this on their family vacation. jeff diel, reporting for abc news, orlando, florida. we re going to need a bigger boat. a growing number of shark sightings has forced the closing of several beaches on cape cod and massachusetts. swimming will be allowed for part of the day on one beach where there are lifeguards and boat patrols. all oceanside beaches are off limits. marine experts say the many seals in the area are attracting sharks and the number of seals have fallen victim to the sharks lat
austral austria? tell us about a shark attack. i want you to take a look at this video. it s pretty incredible. these guys had an amazing experience. it was basically a group of fishermen and they were circled and then attacked by a great white shark. just look at it. there it goes. they were actually just on a holiday having a good time. don just minutes before they saw the shark a couple of the guys were in the water swimming away having a good time. the great white circled their boat and attacked the propeller. they managed to get away. they got back on to land safely. nobody was hurt. they found out later is that they had a bunch of tooth from the shark embedded in the propeller. and that was the picture they got. no one knows why this happened? did they throw food in the water? what happened? they said that the shark
that oil-filled water from the gulf coming into the bay, moving towards those wetlands. absolutely nothing. you see those dolphins in the water swimming through it just breaks your heart. randi kaye, appreciate it. we ll keep at it. a striking number. more than 1.5 million gallons of dispersants have been used so far in the battle against the oil spill, according to the government s own deepwater horizon website, right? the most dispersants ever used in responding to an oil spill. many people have raised concerns about corexit. because of those concerns, the government ordered bp to cut back its use of corexit. has bp actually followed that oil and cut back like the epa ordered them to? the epa says yes. keeping them honest, when we looked at the actual numbers, the actual math, the numbers told us a very different story. here is ed lavendera. reporter: remember this figure. 75%, the amount of dispersant the environmental protection agency told bp they had to cut back in using. 7
